He made his debut with the Modà in front of 56 thousand people, the former Tazenda frontman Nicola Nite. After a period of silence away from the spotlight of the stage and the media, Nite decided to tell the latest difficult months.
Nicola, how was it in Modà and debut on the San Siro stage?
«It was incredible, not to be part of the formation, which has already been solid for 20 years, but simply to help the band with the choirs and guitars, but above all I hoped that my presence did not destabilize the group. I gained this decision about two months ago, chatting with Kekko ».
After 13 years, he left the Tazenda, how did he live the moment of separation?
«It was very painful. The Tazenda are a large family ranging from professionals to individual fans who embrace us in all dates. With them we traveled a road almost fifteen years, we grew up together with Gigi and Gino, they obviously knew everything about my health conditions. Continuing to make concerts knowing that I had to end the path was tiring, I had tears on each date, but we took the right time to tell our fans ».
What kind of problems did you have?
«Several neuropathies that forced me to give up the role of frontman in any context. I have read many things and many comments on the fact that mine was an “excuse” to be able to play with the Modà, but it is absolutely not so. On a physical level it is much more demanding to do 60 dates with the tazenda, from the frontman, rather than help Kekko with choirs and guitars. And then, being only supporting there is no risk that the concert should be canceled only because of my health, which, seeing the new rich calendar of the Tazenda, would have been very likely “.
In what relationship remained with his former colleagues?
“Obviously very well, they are very happy with the choice and we feel very often.”

“My concern was also that of not disappointing them, respecting many boys and girls who supported us everywhere.”
What do you think of the new singer?
«Serena is very good, I told Gigi who found the right solution. It makes no sense to look for someone who imitates me or Andrea Parodi, but in these cases it is right to make a clear change. Speaking of this I would like to say one thing: do not touch the tazenda. Lately I have read badness on social media of all kinds, especially on the band’s new voice. I would like to say to all of them that behind the screens there are men and women who work and who have a sensitivity, now enough! ».
