“This is lace for those who don’t know it.” So Marco Mengoni from the stage of the Olympic Stadium of Rome responded ironically to the haters who had attacked him on social media for the female bodice worn on the debut date of the tour in Naples. At the second change of dress of the evening, Mengoni climbs on stage with a total black look, large trousers and transparent lace shirt and at the first break ironizes on criticism.
In front of an enthusiastic audience, the singer -songwriter gave birth to a powerful and engaging show, a journey between emotions and rebirth. “Thanks Rome, always. You are beautiful”, greeted the artist his 60 thousand fans who came to the Roman stage entirely sold out.
“I was afraid to face Rome again after this past year,” Mengoni said visibly excited by referring to the recent loss of the mother. “Thanks for waiting for me and having given time to me and my heart to recover a little.”
After the Mengoni stadiums he will be the protagonist in the autumn of a tour that will lead him to perform in the large European arenas and Italian buildings, with new lives scheduled in Turin (9 October 2025 – Inalpi Arena), Milan (15 October – Unipol Forum), Bologna (25 October 2025 – Unipol Arena), Florence (31 October 2025 – Mandela Forum), Eboli (4 and 5 November – Palasele) and Rome 2025 2025 2025 2025 – Palazzo dello Sport).
