Snowfall arriving in Abruzzo and Anas takes to the field with personnel and snow plows and salt spreaders, already operational on the entire network of competence, to guarantee the practicability of the roads under management. Moderate to heavy rainfall is expected from tomorrow evening (Saturday 11th) and for the following 36-48 hours in Abruzzo and Molise.
Many Anas arteries are affected by the possibility of snowfall and ice formation, in relation to the expected strong temperature drop, including the state road 81 Piceno Aprutina, the ss5 (Tiburtina), the ss 652 Fondovalle Sangro.

Anas reminds users of the obligation to have winter tires or chains on board, to be installed in case of snow, and to travel on the affected routes only after having informed themselves about the current weather situation and the actual traffic conditions.
Depending on the actual evolution of snow phenomena, traffic regulation measures may be activated with the stopping of heavy vehicles exceeding 7.5 tons for the time strictly necessary in relation to weather forecasts and snow conditions,
