An important year of growth, the 2022-2023 sports season for Cus Camerino, which saw a surge in membership, reaching 2,121 units last sports year: almost 300 more members than in the 2021-2022 year, with a substantial increase among Unicam students and children under 18.
These are the data that emerged from the annual meeting of the Camerte university sports club at the end of last April. »Thanks first and foremost – we read in a note – to a sports offering that sees an increasingly wider range of competitive sections, now consolidated into ten disciplines: athletics, five-a-side football, judo, basketball, volleyball, winter sports, tennis/padel, table tennis, archery and sport climbing. Added to these are the other activities managed by Cussini instructors: beach volleyball, football, judo, karate, running, boxing, rugby, chess, squash, triathlon, trx suspension training, fitness activities, weight lifting, calisthenics, gymnastic and E sports activities -Sports».
In addition to this, Cus Camerino also showed itself in 2023, the year in which it hosted the National University Championships, a reference reality in Italy in the panorama of University Sports, with a constant commitment in 15 national university disciplines: athletics, beach volleyball, five-a-side football, judo, karate, wrestling, basketball, volleyball, chess, fencing, alpine skiing, taekwondo, tennis, table tennis and clay shooting.
At the last CNU at home, 12 medals were won: gold for Elena Tangherlini in foil and Marco Cruciani in mountain running; silver for Klajdi Bitri in judo 66 kg, Raffaella Lelia Ciano in judo 70 kg and mixed doubles Michele Romagnoli-Marzia Comparelli in table tennis; bronze for Kevyn Perna in judo 100 kg, Serena Fiordelmondo in taekwondo 67 kg, Angelica Ghergo in the 400 hurdles race, Marzia Comparelli in women’s singles table tennis, Nathaniel Solonirina Louido and Michele Romagnoli in men’s doubles table tennis. Carboni “), both with schools (Camerino sports high school, Camerino high schools and the “U.
